2017 Goals

PR in Marathon

First 50k trail race

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continual progression by way of PR's and new experiences. I want to always be involved in the community running scene and make contributions to keep the sport growing! I want to stay fit, fast and healthy.

Personal:

I'm a physical therapist at Oasis Physical Therapy in Pasco, WA. My priorities are family, school/career, then running.

Living in Tri-cities Washington (Pasco) and loving our experience here. We have lots of family and friends in Idaho and Utah as well, so hopefully racing in all 3 states will be common.

6.06@7:21 up on Murdock and back via lindon heritage. Legs still aren't back... The downhills aren't very fun. But I'm thankful to be out there and enjoy the crisp morning.

p.m. 10.12m@6:59 w/ some of the BYU guys on their recovery day 3 out on dirt trail and back, add on at grass intramural field and by track (6.5 grass/dirt).

Got a sore throat last night so the throat was pretty dry throughout, but energy was good! Glutes still a little sore where they attach to the sacrum but I'm recovering well now!

Decided to take the day off. I've had a pretty bad sore throat. But mostly I was just really busy and prepping for a test tomorrow.

1m WU 7:25. 15m@5:55 easing into it the first couple and then cooling down a bit on the last one. Murdock Canal Trail w/ Fuller and Wardy (ward added 5 more tempo).

It was kinda tough! First quick or long run since the marathon. Kinda got that asthma-like feeling 11 miles in like I got in the marathon 2 weeks ago before blowing up. I wonder if there's something to it. I'm hoping it's just cuz I was sick a couple days ago and it was my first good effort in a while.
