First 50k trail race Long-Term Running Goals: Continual progression by way of PR's and new experiences. I want to always be involved in the community running scene and make contributions to keep the sport growing! I want to stay fit, fast and healthy. Personal: I'm a physical therapist at Oasis Physical Therapy in Pasco, WA. My priorities are family, school/career, then running.

| am. 10m@ 7:28 from house up to Murdock and back via Lindon Heritage trail. Avg HR 134. Avg SPM 169. I think that was the slowest 10 miler (minus on trails) that I've ever been on! I was trying to keep my HR at 130 or lower but I guess that's just not possible for me.
pm. 6.5m@ 7:28 (5 on intramural field) w/ Dallin, Dallin Taylor, and Shaq. Hot and windy. Tested out some Topo shoes... didn't love 'em too much.

Stopped at a porta-potty at 7 miles... felt SO MUCH better, faster, and lighter after that. Should have just gone earlier :)

| 18m@5:53 on the Murdock w/ Iain, Witt, Ward, and G-man. The latter 3 did a tempo the last 4-5 miles so Iain and I just did our own thing. Quick pee break at 5, quick water break at 10, quick stretch break at 15. It was tough and the right hamstring was a little tight but I feel great about the run and the whole week! Longest week I've done in probably 16 months! Splits: 6:13, 5:56, 5:47, 5:48, 5:55, 5:57, 5:54, 5:55, 5:53, 5:55, 5:50, 5:50, 5:53, 5:52, 5:52, 5:47, 5:53, 5:42.
